Remember in Your Own Way

A Tangible Memory in Bronze

The loss of a loved one brings with it a wave of choices and emotions. In this time, you search for a way to remember them — a form that does justice to who they were and reflects the love you feel for them. A tangible, personal memorial artwork in your own familiar surroundings can offer great comfort.

A Personal Artwork

Together we can create something truly unique. This could be a lifelike portrait, but also an abstract representation of someone’s life, passions or character. Perhaps you feel the need to give shape to this memory yourself, but aren’t sure how to begin. In that case, please feel free to get in touch with me. Together, and at your own pace, we’ll look at what suits you and how I can translate your feelings into a lasting work.

A Unique Urn

When you want to keep your loved one’s ashes close, an urn can be a beautiful resting place. Although there are hundreds of urns to be found online, they often lack a personal soul. Does no existing design feel right? Then it can be truly meaningful to have the urn you have in mind made especially for you.

I work with clay and can guide you step by step in creating an urn that truly carries meaning. We’ll work on it together in my studio or at my home. Only once you’re completely satisfied with the clay design do I take the work to the foundry, where it is finally cast in durable bronze or high-quality resin. We decide every detail together, in close consultation.

The Healing Power of Creation

In my experience, working together on a tangible memory can have a healing effect. Grief is often hard to grasp. By putting your hands into the clay, you give shape — literally and figuratively — to your sorrow and to the love that remains. You transform an intense feeling into a tangible symbol that you carry with you forever: a memory that never fades.

Shall we shape memories together?

Feel free to get in touch with me, with no obligation whatsoever. Whether you already have a concrete idea, or would rather discover the possibilities together — the coffee is ready. I’d love to listen to your story.
