Beautiful sculptures exist of women expecting new life. But what do you give someone whose wish for a child hasn’t come easily — or a mother who has lost her child? This piece gives that grief a voice by letting the emptiness speak. That emptiness need not be hidden: the grief is there, was there, and may always be there. Available in neolith, in various colours, and on request also cast in bronze.
